The Haribo develops its Nemesvámos-based factory from 3.5 billion HUF
Haribo closed a three and a half billion HUF investment in its Nemesvámos-based factory. The company received 800 million HUF non-repayable fundings in the scope of the New Széchenyi Plan from EU funds; 40 new jobs have been created – was said at the company’s project closing ceremony on Wednesday.
The company established its sugar gum production plant in 2000 in Nemesvámos, Veszprém County. The production has been steadily increasing since then and in 2012 it exceeded 12 thousand tons, so last spring the company began to develop the production capacity, the necessary infrastructure and real estate, and the information technology investments as well.
