Fake drugs cause 130 billion HUF damages in Hungary
Every year, the fake drugs cause about 130 billion HUF damages in Hungary. It is 13 percent of the total domestic drug traffic and 4 percent of the fake drug traffic registered in the European Union – the National Board Against Counterfeiting (HENT) told MTI on Thursday.
Referring to the latest report of the European Union’s Office of Harmonization in the Internal Market (OHIM), the National Board Against Counterfeiting (HENT) wrote that on EU level, the online sales of fake drugs cause a direct loss in revenue of about 10.2 billion euros per year. (MTI)
