Onions beating beer and chocolate, at least at the Brits
The onion gives the “happiest” food experience – at least for the Brits – even overtaking the chocolates and chips as well.
According to the survey of the Live Well For Less organization; onion triumphed on the basis of the “pleasure / penny” index overtaking milk chocolate, beer, chips, pastries, that had more chance to win according to the “paper form”. But they had not been included to the forefront. Carrots became the second, while bronze medalist became cooked beans – reports MTI, after British Metro newspaper.
