The local government of Gyula bought the Meat Factory of Gyula

The local government of Gyula bought the assets of the Meat Factory of Gyula (under liquidation) for 850 million HUF, as well as the trade marks of the Gyulai Sausage and liver products from the National Reorganisation Non-profit Ltd. The purchase agreement was signed in Gyula on Thursday.

At the ceremony Budai Gyula, Minister of State of the Ministry of Rural Development highlighted that the rescue of the Meat Factory of Gyula and the creation of continuous operating conditions proves that the state can be a good and careful owner. The success is due to the joint efforts of the government, local MPs, the city's leaders, the meat industry of Gyula and the local community – he added. (MTI)
