Delhaize's third quarter profit decreased
Company reported a 3.1% fall in third quarter net profit to EUR100 million as a weak dollar eroded the bottom line. At identical exchange rates, net profit would have been up 4.2%, the Delhaize said.
EBIT stood at EUR215.8 million,
slightly up on the year-earlier EUR215.6 million. Pointing out that
at identical exchange rates Delhaize was growing in all areas. The

three-quarters of its business, sales were down 5.2% at EUR3.2
billion. The retailer has confirmed its full year targets.
