According to Péter Geszti, thought is the most important thing in advertising which needs to be conveyed through the right medium. Though Hungarians are afraid of change, they are also curious enough as consumers to be open to new things. However, price is still the main consideration for Hungarian consumers. In advertising, clients prefer clichés and adaptations to creative ideas. Good ads reflect local peculiarities and help consumers overcome their fear of the unknown.
