According to the Ministry of Economy, there is no need for qualified cashier
The new regulation of the Ministry of Economy would abolish the requirement of vocational training for the most of the trade jobs. The trade union fears from the obsoletion of the professions.
According to the Ministry there is no need for qualified cashiers, sellers of bakery products, vegetables, fruit, clothing, books, newspapers, paper and stationery, but also market inspectors. According to the trade union this would lead to the deterioration of the quality of services. The interest protectors pointed out that that the new regulation would primarily affect most of the workers of the hypermarkets, so the hypermarkets should not have to pay minimum wage for them – reports Népszabadság Online.
