Euro Zone’s composite BMI indicates the continuation of the economic growth
The preliminary value of the Euro Zone’s composite BMI increased in August – the Markit Economics Economic Research Institute announced on Friday in London.
The preliminary value of the Euro Zone’s manufacturing Purchasing Managers' Index (BMI) became 52.4 points in August. Its value was the same as in July. The analysts expected a decline to 52.2 points.
However the preliminary value of the service industry BMI improved to 54.3 point,s from the 54.0 points in July. A stagnation was expected in this segment.
With the manufacturing and service sector datas, the composite BMI increased to 54.1 points in August from the 53.9 points in July. The analysts expected a decline to 53.8 points. (MTI)
