The World of Gastronomy Once Again Turns Its Eyes to chocoMe – Ten New Awards at the 2025 Great Taste Awards
Hungarian craft chocolate brand chocoMe has once again made its mark on the international scene: at the 2025 Great Taste Awards, one of the world’s most prestigious gastronomic competitions, the jury recognized the company’s exceptional bean-to-bar chocolates with ten new awards.
Often referred to as the “Oscars of taste”, the Great Taste Awards is a globally respected competition where products are judged by an independent panel of 400 experts, including Michelin-starred chefs, food critics, gastronomic specialists, and key buyers from Fortnum & Mason, Harrods, Selfridges, and Whole Foods Market. Products are evaluated through a blind tasting process, based solely on taste and quality — without packaging or branding to influence decisions.
chocoMe has participated successfully in this competition for twelve years now, and the 2025 results once again confirm its place among the world’s most outstanding specialty chocolate producers.
This year’s winners particularly highlight the recently launched chocoMe Atelier bean-to-bar collection, handcrafted from rare, exceptional-quality cacao beans with unique genetic origins.
“Our bean-to-bar chocolates are made using just two ingredients: cacao beans and cane sugar. Despite this simplicity, it is the most demanding chocolate-making process — practiced by only a few hundred chocolatiers worldwide. This is why we take particular pride in our ability to excel among the very best.”— said Gábor Mészáros, founder/owner and chocolatier of chocoMe.
The jury awarded four products with two stars (silver medal) and an additional six with one star (bronze medal). With these ten new accolades, chocoMe’s tally of awards from the world’s top chocolate and gastronomic competitions now stands at 141 — a testament to its ongoing excellence.
