Grain production could hit historic record as stocks dwindle
The world market price barometer is at new heights, after experts from the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) registered levels not seen since July 2011.
The FAO food price index, which tracks a monthly price change in an international food basket, has risen 3.9% since September, continuing its three-month march.
