The Grain Association opposes the ban on Ukrainian imports
The Hungarian Grain Association, as the representative of grain and oilseed traders and processors, does not support or agree with any market-restrictive measures.
It was already confirmed that the export restriction had an absolutely negative effect on the market and had no positive returns. We also do not agree with the import ban on grain and oilseeds from Ukraine, especially in a season when, for example, our exposure to corn imports is very high. This measure will cause serious difficulties for Hungarian feed manufacturers and industrial processors, which will have an impact on livestock keepers and consumers as well.
