The NÉBIH will test the freshly harvested grain
In order to filter out contamination in grains, the NÉBIH will test the mycotoxin ie fungal toxin content of cereals – the deputy director of NÉBIH told M1 news channel on Monday.
This means that the National Food Chain Safety Office’s (NÉBIH) inspectors will take 400-500 samples at harvest and will examined them in laboratory – Gábriel Géza told.
The inspection is effective, because mycotoxin infection occured only 6-7 years ago, which may cause mild diarrhea, nausea and gastrointestinal symptoms – he added. (MTI)
