The French would make Tokaji to the king of wines
The Hungarian Tokaji is one of the most prestigious liqueur wine in the world, but it is not quite salable. This motivates the French investors in Hungary, who want to make the Tokaji as “the wine of kings and the king of wines” again – wrote French daily Le Figaro on Thursday.
“The Tokaji is not considered among the great wines, though it would have the right place among them.” – told Jean-Guillaume, director of Prats of Cos d Estournel to the newspaper who distributes the Hétszőlő. He created a joint company with Pablo Alvarez, owner of Tokaj Oremus since 1993. According to the newspaper the grouping is a very good choice, because the Oremus is reputed to produce the most elegant wines of the Tokaj region According to a French wine producer, Samuel Tino with this step the Tokaji can become “the wine of kings and the king of wines” again – reports vallalkozoinegyed.hu, after Le Figaro.
