The French government publishes the expansion of the Sunday opening hours in a decree
The French National Assembly adopted the French Government’s proposal on the extension of Sunday opening hours. It was one of the most controversial issue of the economic reform package.
Instead of the current 5, the stores will be able to be open on Sundays 12 times a year. The authorized the days will be appointed by the government, the employees are employable on a voluntary basis and with a 100 percent bonus on Sundays. (MTI)
