KitKat debuts in Formula 1
KitKat, known as one of the world’s favorite chocolates, will become the official chocolate bar of the speeding circus: the official collaboration between the chocolate brand, which will celebrate its 90th birthday next year, and the Formula 1 racing series, which is celebrating its 75th anniversary, will start in the 2025 season.
Starting next year, the iconic slogan “Have a Break, Have a KitKat”, with a history dating back decades, will also become unavoidable in connection with the world’s fastest sport, after Nestlé and Formula 1 decided to combine the two brands’ global fan base in an innovative way. But how does the KitKat feeling of slowing down and taking a break fit into the exciting and fast-paced world of motorsport?
“Formula 1 has a rapidly growing and diverse fan base, especially among young people. With its global reach and numerous events, the speeding circus gives KitKat the perfect platform to remind everyone to take time out. We are excited to see what memorable experiences we can bring to motorsport fans around the world by injecting KitKat’s signature sense of humor into this exciting sport.”
said Bernard Meunier, Head of Strategic Business Units, Marketing and Sales at Nestlé.
