New regulation for protecting consumers
On 2 February the AI Act, the European Union’s first regulation on artificial intelligence entered into force.

The legislation applies to all organisations and companies that develop, sell or use AI in the European Union, whether they operate in the EU or outside it. The AI Act aims to ensure that AI systems are safe, all developers and operators use AI responsibly, fundamental rights are protected, and privacy and fair treatment are guaranteed. //
