One third of consumers choose food based on environmental impact, according to a survey
In Hungary, consumers no longer choose food based on prices, 36 percent of them also take environmental impacts into account, according to a representative survey, Danone Magyarország Kft. told MTI on Monday.
According to the survey, younger people pay particular attention to sustainability, which almost half of those under 35 mentioned as a purchasing aspect.
In addition to the environment, health and ethical considerations can also influence consumption patterns, with more than a fifth of respondents willing to eat less meat, for example. (MTI)
