Solvent foreign clientele should be attracted

The new tourism development concept aims to develop quality tourism and to attract solvent foreign guests. The new tourism development concept will be completed by the end of the year.

Bienerth Gusztáv, Government Commissioner said on Sunday in Budapest, at a press conference presenting the capital's tourism developments, that last year 3.8 million tourists visited the capital, of which 3.2 million came from abroad. The gross room revenues amounted to 104 billion HUF, 96.4 percent of this was foreign guest nights, which is a 16 percent increase over the previous year. (MTI)
