According to Helia-D’s representative research, the majority of Hungarian women aged 20-39 already include facial cleansing, hydration and sun protection in their morning routine. In response to customer demands, the iconic Hungarian cosmetic brand has introduced new facial cleansing and body care products.

More and more people know that the secret to young, healthy skin lies not only in genes, but also in a well-thought-out facial care routine. Helia-D is now making skin care easier by expanding its Hydramax product line, so that cleansing, hydration and sun protection are available in a single product line specifically designed for young people aged 18-35. With the new members of Hydramax, every step of facial care is gentle, yet effective, perfectly matching the needs of an active and modern lifestyle. The Skin Selection body care products, which are also new, support everyday skin care with a particularly high content of nourishing active ingredients.

Young women are well aware of the main steps of the morning and evening routine

In its research, Helia-D surveyed the facial care habits of young Hungarian women aged 20-29 and 30-39. It turned out that we are increasingly aware of skin care, sun protection and prevention that slows down the signs of aging.

A slightly higher proportion of women aged 20-29, 68%, use facial care products in the evening than in the morning (59%). In the case of women aged 30-39, the morning (58%) and evening (59%) facial care routines show a similar proportion. Among those aged 20-29, only 13%, and among those aged 30-39, the proportion of those who do not use facial care products at all is 19%. The majority of those aged 20-39, around 70%, also include facial cleansing and moisturizing in their morning routine. 20-29 year olds are more conscious about sun protection, 61% use sunscreen, even 36% of Hungarian women in their thirties protect their facial skin from harmful UV rays. Younger people also use serums and essences to a greater extent (38%), only 27% of women in their thirties enjoy the benefits of concentrated active ingredients in their morning routine. The two basic pillars of the evening routine of the 20-39 year old age group are facial cleansing and hydration, in addition, 20-29 year olds include the use of serum/essence, exfoliant and face mask in a larger proportion, while 30-39 year olds prefer to incorporate eye care products into their routine. Research data also shows that the very young age group is paying more and more attention to skin care.
