Clorox’s results improved by the growing demand for disinfectants
According to a report released on the company’s website on Monday, Clorox reached sales of 1.916 billion USD in the first quarter of its fiscal year ending September, up 27 percent from 1.506 billion USD a year earlier. Analysts forecasted revenue of 1.76 billion USD.
Quarterly net income was 415 million USD, up 104 percent from 203 million USD in the first quarter of the previous fiscal year. Earnings per shareholder rose to 3.22 USD from 1.59 USD. (MTI)
