The Ferrero Group acquired the 100 percent of the family-owned Oltan Group. The Oltan Group is the market leader in the acquisition, processing and distribution of peanuts. The company has an annual turnover of more than 500 million USD. The Oltan Group is headquartered in Trabzon, Turkey and has five plants in the country's main peanut producing regions. The peanuts are exported into the European Union and to the world's other major export markets.
