Passenger traffic at Ferihegy Airport was more than 80 percent lower in July than last year
The passenger traffic at Budapest Liszt Ferenc International Airport was more than 80 percent lower in July than a year before, but compared to the previous month, there were three times as many flights.
Budapest Airport, which operates the airport, describes in a statement sent to MTI on Friday that in July, 301,000 arrivals and departures were registered, 81 percent less than at the same time last year. However, more and more of the flights previously stopped due to the coronavirus pandemic are resuming, which is why more than three times as many people turned up at Ferihegy Airport compared to June this year.
