Men are are efficient when buying Christmas gifts
Even though this year Christmas gifts are going to be more modest than last year, the holiday will be a lot like in the previous years. Most people spend less than 30 thousand on Christmas gifts, the majority of families go to hypermarkets and outlets, and men tend to buy everything in one place within a short period of time. The quick survey by Kutatócentrum and Marketing&Media also revealed that men prefer to get most of their shopping done online.
In spite of the recession, 87 percent of citizens between the age of 18-64 plan to buy Christmas gifts for their loved ones, whereas only 8 percent of those asked are not willing to spend on gifts this season and 5 percent have no idea how they will get their shopping done. Two-thirds of those asked is about to spend maximum 30 thouand HUF, 15 percent is going to spend 30-50 thousand HUF, and 1 percent of those taking part in the survey revealed that they are willing to spend more than 100 thousand HUF on Christmas gifts this year.
