Nearly sixty percent of the light garlands are faulty
This year, 58.8 percent of the tested christmas light garlands did not meet the product safety requirements which is almost 30 percent less than last year's 87.5 percent – Vermes Bella, press officer of the National Consumer Protection Authority (NFH) told M1 news channel on Wednesday.
She said that in 2014, 28 out of 32 light garlands were inadequate, while this year 10 out of 17 light garlands failed to comply with the rules. The controls are continuing in the supermarkets, shops and markets – she added. (MTI)
