Porsche grants its supplier award to Fenthol & Sandtmann GmbH
Porsche AG, Stuttgart, has honoured its ten best suppliers of the past year in the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart Zuffenhausen. Borg Warner Turbo Systems GmbH in Kirchheimbolanden received the first prize for proving itself as an innovative partner in the area of turbocharging for petrol engines.
In his speech, Uwe Karsten Städter, Member of the Executive Board Procurement of Porsche AG, encouraged suppliers to continue to boost their efforts in matters of quality and prepare their supply chains for growth to be ready for the challenges of the coming years.
n his speech, Matthias Müller, President and CEO of Porsche AG, emphasised the brilliant prospects for the automotive industry as a whole: “We all have an auspicious future before us. With great self-confidence, we can face the extraordinary challenges the future will bring.”
Alongside Borg Warner Turbo Systems, Porsche honoured nine other suppliers with the Porsche Supplier Award 2011 for their outstanding performances.
In the production material category, they were: ASK Industries GmbH, Niederwinkling; Autotest AG, Lana, Italy; Friedrich Boysen GmbH & Co. KG, Altensteig; Maschinenfabrik Alfing Kessler GmbH, Aalen; Pirelli Deutschland GmbH, Höchst im Odenwald; Preh GmbH, Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale; Eissmann Automotive Deutschland GmbH, Bad Urach. Taking the honours in the non-production material category was: Metron GmbH, Eging am See. The prize in the logistics services category went to: Fenthol & Sandtmann GmbH, Hamburg.
