The freedom of making progress
Roland Bognár, the passionate mixologist of Turner’s Cafe and Bar in Sárvár wants to learn and teach the profession.

“I have been a mixologist since November 2021, but I had already worked in hospitality before that. I am consciously building my career while also training myself. I work at Turner’s Cafe and Bar in Sárvár, which was founded by Máté and Bence Esztergályos. They aren’t only my bosses, but also my mentors. Making progress isn’t only possible in line with external expectations – I often compete with myself. I like to experiment with special ingredients and for me freedom is the most important “technique” in modern cocktail making. My most successful cocktail is the Bumbu Dream. In the future I would like to pass on my knowledge to others, mentoring the younger generation of mixologists”.
