Tobacco industry investors are concerned due to the excise tax increase

According to the Association of Hungarian Tobacco Industry Investors, the Tuesday submitted proposal in connection with the tobacco excise tax increase is risky in many ways, and may bring negative consequences.

The association in its commission sent to MTI on Wednesday emphasized that the increase of the excise tax typically burdens the consumers, in addition to the further drastic rise in prices greatly increase the market of illegal products. (MTI)
