DOFER has signed a contract for the cultivation and sale of tobacco for 934 hectares this year
The DOFER Dohányfermentáló Zrt. signed a contract for the cultivation and sale of 934 hectares, mostly in the tobacco area in Nyírség, which is about 15 percent smaller than last year, the company responsible for about a third of domestic tobacco productiontold MTI.
The decrease in the contracted area is explained by the company as a general industry trend, which can be attributed to the increase in costs, especially energy prices and labor costs. (MTI)
