A Pécs-based company starts developing a plant protection product to treat bacterial diseases in walnut trees
The Enviroinvest Zrt., based in Pécs is starting to develop a new plant protection product that can be used against the bacteria that cause walnut bacterial buds, leaf and fruit spot spots, the company told MTI.

The Enviroinvest Zrt. develops plant protection product to protect walnut trees
In their statement, they wrote that the pesticide would work against a bacterium called xaj, one of the most serious pathogens in walnuts. Xaj is currently causing huge economic damage, but no effective, registered drug is yet available. (MTI)
