Tesco reinforces its presence in the digital sector

Tesco creates a new brand called T Digital under which the retailer groups all of its own tech products, in order to bolster digital credentials – reports Marketing Week. Marcus Bennett told the website that the move is part of Tesco’s plans to become a leading multichannel retailer. Tesco’s online sales were up 11 per cent last year. It has also sold more than 500,000 of its Hudl tablets in 2013. (Source: marketinginfo.hu)
