DHL arrived at the Hungaroring for the Formula 1® weekend with a doubled fleet of trucks powered by biofuel
DHL and Forma-1® are already in Mogyoród, the FORMA-1® HUNGARIAN GRAND PRIX 2024, which will be held between July 19 and 21, brought the excitement of motorsport to the fans. In addition to the heated atmosphere, DHL is supporting Formula 1 in its transition to a more sustainable sport to reach the net zero emissions target by 2030. This season, the number of trucks running on biofuel has more than doubled, to a total of 37 trucks on the European section. Each truck reduces carbon dioxide emissions by an average of 83% compared to their diesel counterparts.
This season is a special milestone, as DHL celebrates 20 years as the official logistics partner of Formula 1®, making it the sport’s longest-standing global partner. In addition, a multi-year extension of the partnership was announced this year, which further strengthens the cooperation between the two companies.
