Shell Hungary zRt. has opened its newest filling station in Tompa, near the Hungarian-Serbian border, bringing its Hungarian filling station network to 197. The station, which offers a full range of fuels, not only offers customers a Shell Café – taking into account the international truck traffic due to the location – but also provides washing and washing facilities for drivers setting off on longer journeys.

Shell has made an investment that significantly increases local coverage by opening a filling station at the Tompa border crossing in the Bács-Kiskun county part of the southern border section, thanks to which motorists and truckers entering the country here or exiting at Tompa can also receive the high-quality service they are accustomed to from Shell when refueling.

The new Shell filling station, located right next to the border and next to the main road, is open every day of the week from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., and customers can refuel from Shell’s entire fuel range at four normal and two high-pressure filling stations at the same time, and an LPG filling station is also available to customers. A pistol-type filling station for Adblue has also been installed at the filling station.

Shell also guarantees refreshment while refueling at its filling station, which has been designed according to new standards. In the Shell Café, which has deservedly become a favorite of customers in recent years, in addition to freshly brewed, delicious barista coffee specialties, teas and soft drinks, customers who come to the filling station can quench their thirst and hunger with snacks, pre-packaged sandwiches and hot dogs, and they can also conveniently consume the selected food and drinks on site. Truckers on longer journeys will be provided with shower facilities, a washroom, and laundry and drying facilities, and free WiFi is also available while waiting. The station also offers card payments and OPT (outdoor payment at the well column) from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
