Delhaize purchased the Serbian Delta Maxi
The Belgium-based Delhaize retail group finished the 100 percent acquisition of the Serbian Delta Maxi retail chain.
With the 932.5 million euros transaction, Delhaize can further strengthen its position in the Balkans. The Delta Maxi chain now operates 450 stores in Serbia, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Montenegro and Albania, but this number can increase near 500, until the end of the year – reports Világgazdaság Online, after Bloomberg.
