Daniella Kft. and Lumenet Kft. respond to the region’s dynamic e-commerce growth with a strategic partnership
Daniella Kft. and Lumenet Kft. have entered into a new strategic partnership to jointly enter the dynamically growing Romanian e-commerce market. The cooperation between the two market-leading companies has reached a significant milestone, which offers new opportunities for both residential and industrial customers. The new online store will be launched at the beginning of 2025, and the subsidiary of Daniella Kft., Dominant Electric s.r.l., is responsible for the logistics processes and professional advice.
New opportunities in Romania
The Romanian market is a particularly attractive target for expansion, as the Daniella group is already present in the country, including in Marosvásárhely, Nagyvárad and Cluj. With the help of the new platform, local customers can access a wide range of electrical and lighting technology, all through an innovative, easy-to-use online store.
The growth of e-commerce in Romania
Romania’s e-commerce market is growing rapidly: in 2022, Romanian online customers bought products worth around 626 billion euros, which is twice the size of the Hungarian market. And the country’s digital shopping habits are similar to those of more developed markets, such as the Czech Republic. This growth presents excellent opportunities for Daniella and Lumenet.
Long-term plans and innovations
The aim of the partnership is to expand not only in Romania, but also in other international markets later on. Daniella Kft. serves its customers with more than 120,000 electrical products, while Lumenet Kft. serves its customers with 40,000 premium lighting technology solutions, ensuring quick and flexible adaptation to the needs of the market.
The collaboration between Daniella and Lumenet is a good example of how technological innovation and professional experience can be successfully combined to raise online electricity trade to new levels.
