Except for beet, harvesting of autumn arable crops has been completed
With the exception of sugar beet, the harvest of arable field crops has been completed. The country has safe supply of maize, sunflower and soybean yields and significant quantities can be exported as well – Feldman Zsolt, Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told following a press conference in Budapest on Thursday.
This year, 7.45 million tonnes of maize, 1.8 million tonnes of sunflower and 174 thousand tonnes of soy have been harvested, with 8.3 tonnes of average yield of maize, 3 tonnes of sunflower and 2.9 tonnes of soy per hectare. (MTI)
