The sugar factory is ready for the processing campaign

The country's only operating sugar factory in Kaposvár is preparing for the sugar beet processing campaign, with more than 650 million HUF worth of development.

Hájos László, Chief Technical Officer of the Magyar Cukor Zrt. (Hungarian Sugar Inc.) told to MTI, that all work will be completed until early September.
About 300 truck loads of raw material goes throught the several "carrots installation gates" every day.  In addition, they are preparing with new water cooling towers and a new sugar beet drain system for the 117th campaign, where 8000 tonnes of beet will be processed every day.
