The Czech government is helping travel agencies with 500 million crowns
The Czech government will provide 500 million crowns (6,750 million forints) to support travel agencies and tour guides severely damaged by the coronavirus pandemic, Regional Development Minister Klára Dostálová wrote on Twitter after Monday’s government meeting.
According to government information, travel agents could receive up to 2.75 percent of their planned revenues this year.
Travel agencies would receive 500 crowns from the state after failed trips. Travel agencies specializing in inbound tourism can receive a grant of 50,000 crowns (675,000 forints). (Kokes János, MTI)
