Varga Winery started harvesting with Csabagyöngye this year as well
Varga Máté Péter reported that the harvest in the settlement belonging to the Balatonboglár wine region could have started a week later than in previous years. The purchase price increased from the 85 HUF of last year to 100 HUF per kilogram, because the demand from Csabagyöngyé is higher than the supply. The hybrid grape variety is the first new wine in Europe to be made by a reductive process, without maturation, and is expected to hit the stores in mid-September. (MTI)
