CP Group acquires Tesco stores in Thailand and Malaysia
Tesco sells its Thai and Malaysian businesses to CP Group, a Bangkok-based food, retail and agri conglomerate. The transaction’s value is USD 10.6 billion. Tesco has said that the completion of the deal is expected to be realised during the second half of 2020.
