Coop-Carrefour Deal ended in Switzerland
The former Carrefour hypermarkets will be Coop Megastores from June, so the Coop chain has now 24 big stores in the Alpen country.
The Swiss watchdog approved Coop to buy
Carrefour's 12 hypermarkets, but had some assumptions: Coop has to
finish that bad pracice, that its suppliers can sell for anybody
else, the company can't by new chains in six years and Coop has to
give 20,000 sqm for food traders.
