CO-OP and Bonafarm are both committed to Hungarian food
On March 27, CO-OP Hungary Zrt. and the Bonafarm Group held a senior-level meeting on the situation of the Hungarian food industry and food retailing, as well as on further strengthening the position of Hungarian products.
At the meeting, the parties reviewed the situation of the Hungarian food industry and food retailing, with particular regard to the expected development of food inflation, the challenges facing the food industry and retailing, as well as development opportunities. At the meeting, both parties expressed their hope that the inflationary and food inflationary environment that has developed over the past months will soon normalize, so that the volume of goods sold, especially domestic products, can return to growth after the decline experienced in previous months. In light of this, both companies agreed that a wider range of Hungarian products should be provided to domestic consumers.
