Chio fries its products in healthier oil from 1st July
Starting from 1st July 2010, Chio Hungary Ltd. switches to a new oil mixture in both of its factories. The new frying oil contains 30% less saturated fatty acids than the previous one.
The change does not affect the taste of the products. Only a few thousandths of the consumption of fat and oil in Hunagry comes from salty snakcs, so the change will not affect the health of the population. It is rather a symbolic action from Chio, demonstrating the importance of balanced nutrition.
