Carlsberg buys German brewery Wernesgrüner
Carlsberg Group has announced that it agreed with Bitburger Braugruppe to acquire the Wernesgrüner Brewery. This deal also includes the Wernesgrüner brand in the Vogtland region of Saxony. The step is going to improve the company’s efficiency and flexibility in production and logistics in Germany.
