Carlsberg to cut 2,000 jobs
Due to the weakening of the Russian market Carlsberg decided to cut operating costs by USD 288 million until 2018. The management will become 15 percent smaller and the brewer will trim its workforce by 2,000. Russia’s beer market contracted by 11 percent in Q3 2015.
