Budapest Airport expects a maximum of 4 million passengers this year
Due to the spread of the coronavirus pandemic in Europe and the introduction of related travel and other restrictions, the traffic of Liszt Ferenc International Airport is constantly decreasing. This means that Budapest Airport can have a maximum traffic of 4 million in 2020.
According to the announcement sent to MTI by Budapest Airport Zrt. on Friday, after the number of passengers exceeding 88,000 in September, the capital airport received a total of 62,816 arrivals and departures in October, which is a 95.7 percent decrease, compared to the same period of the previous year.
