DMK opted for Bosch’s sterilising line

DMK, Deutsches Milchkontor expanded its baby food production capacity by installing Bosch’s thermoforming unit: TFM 8030 PS is an aseptic forming, filling and sealing machine that delivers products with a shelf life up to 12 months without refrigeration. Bosch TFM 8030 PS is capable of a 57,000-cup per hour output, amounting to a maximum daily milk processing volume of 100 tons. Plastic cups are formed from reel material, which is much more cost-efficient in the production of baby food compared to prefabricated cups. A barrier of EVOH (ethylene vinyl alcohol) material is integrated within the film, protecting the filled product against oxidation and water vapour diffusion.
