Last year, the Bosch company group achieved HUF 2,207 billion in sales in Hungary
In 2023, the Bosch company group achieved sales revenue of HUF 2,207 billion in Hungary, including the sales revenue of non-consolidated companies and trade between its own companies, last year’s revenue is almost the same as the previous year, the company told MTI on Thursday.
They pointed out that last year the company spent HUF 136 billion on research and development in Hungary, which is 21 percent more than the year before.
Bosch continued its already started investments in Hungary, for which it spent HUF 145 billion last year.
According to the information, at the end of 2023, the company group employed more than 18,300 workers in Hungary, 3,900 of whom worked in research and development.
They explained that in 2023, the largest automotive electronics factory of the Bosch group, Robert Bosch Elektronika Kft. in Hatvan, started the production of several new power electronics solutions for electric vehicles. According to their expectations, by 2030, 70 percent of all new cars in Europe will be purely electric. .
