Borsodi Brewery and Hydro Fehérvár AV19 became Sports Marketing Ambassadors of the Year
On Wednesday, March 5, the Sportmarketing Diamond Awards, founded by the Sports Marketing Section of the Hungarian Marketing Association, were presented at the DIGITAL FORUM. The special marketing professional award honored the most outstanding projects and actors in domestic sports marketing. According to the jury’s decision, Borsodi Brewery and Hydro Fehérvár AV19 became the Sports Marketing Ambassadors of the Year.
The Sportmarketing Diamond Award is not just a competition, but a platform that helps to present the best sports marketing solutions and also contributes to the continuous development of the profession. Moreover, the activities recognized with the award also show good examples of value-creating relationships between brands, sports organizations and athletes. All this is especially important because we increasingly see that creative and effective sports marketing campaigns play a key role in strengthening the relationship between brands and consumers – emphasizes Ferenc Hinora, President of the Hungarian Marketing Association, which organizes the award.
The award was open to applications in six categories for sports marketing activities implemented between July 1, 2023 and December 31, 2024. The categories were as follows: sports marketing collaborations, sports marketing campaigns (with a budget of under HUF 8 million), sports marketing campaigns (with a budget of over HUF 8 million), social media and content marketing solutions implemented in the sports marketing theme, sports events, and athlete marketing, communication and PR activities. Of the categories, sports marketing campaigns, sports events and social media content marketing solutions proved to be the most popular in this application cycle. The special feature of the award is that applications submitted for the Sports Marketing Diamond Award do not compete with each other, but are judged by the professional jury based on a predefined and published set of criteria.
