Wine, as a compass: experience exchange between the Austrian and Hungarian winemakers
The wine and gastronomy – in addition to everyday life – is an increasingly important consideration when selecting the next destination as well. At the first Hungarian-Austrian Wine Summit, the Hungarian and Austrian winemakers will exchange their experiences at the DiVino Wine Bar about the common winemaking challenges of the two countries.
“Hungary and Austria are close to each other both geographically and historically, but we can find a lot of parallels between the two country's wine regions, grape varieties,” – Emanuel Lehner, the Central Europe leader of the Österreich Werbung said. In addition, the wine culture – along with the gastronomy – recruits a growing number of followers who are taking this aspect into account as a travelling destination when planning a long weekend our the next vacation.
