Milks in the stores are safe
It is safe to consume milk products marketed in Hungary. The authorities have actually found products contaminated with aflatoxin, after the Hír TV revealed that aflatoxins were found at a dairy processor.
The aflatoxin is a fungus poison on improperly prepared or stored feeds. Damages the liver, it is blocking the immune system, and in large quantities it can cause cancer. Kardeván Endre, Secretary of State in the Ministry of Rural Development told that the authority is continuously monitoring the processors, and if excessive amounts of aflatoxin are found, they immediately seize the food products.
